Meet the real frank

Frank the cat was inspired by a stray cat that showed up on my door step. I gave him food and water.

I tried to pet him, He growled and hissed at me.

Then I tried again and he totally loved the caress.

I liked this feisty kitty, So I wrote him into my book.

About the author, Terry Carbary

I live in the Pacific Northwest, near Seattle.

My book characters could be found living amongst the creatures in my back yard. Deer, squirrels, bunnies and birds, maybe a mouse or two, all living near a river in my woodsy surroundings.

My horse, Houston is the inspiration for my book character, Hewey. Houston had a craving for apples, anytime an apple was present Houston thought it should be his.

I found Rachel through an online market place app called Fiverr, it connects freelance artist’s services to customers. In my case I was looking for an illustrator to create a consistent visual theme throughout my book.
